SUITABILITY: In canon, Gojo is "the Strongest" member of a society which is dedicated to fighting 'curses', which are their world's equivalent of monsters. Most of his life and most of his identity has been crafted around this purpose, and he's perceived by many people as more of a living weapon than a human. He's a martial arts master and has been a soldier for most of his life. He wouldn't know what to do with himself if there weren't monsters to fight.
Though he is likely to resent his new overlords, Gojo resents his canon overlords, the "higher-ups" of jujutsu society, but he takes no action against them and continues to willingly carry out all his assigned missions (with a little light malicious compliance here and there, as you do) because he doesn't want to create a power vacuum and doesn't want to take on authority himself. He would never seek to oppose LILITH unless there were a better replacement available--and that's never going to happen--so his resistance will be limited to occasional grumpiness about being ordered around.
Further, he has significant canonmates (most importantly Suguru, Megumi, Yuji, and Yuta) who are already cooperative. He's motivated to work and fight with them, to help protect them, and to keep them out of trouble. He would absolutely never oppose LILITH if there were any potential blow-back against any of them.
Plus he really just loves fighting monsters. It's his favorite thing. He is panting for a challenge and can't wait to see the most dangerous kaiju that LILITH has in store. Despite having lofty ideals of improving society, he will choose 'fight mega monster' over 'planning and introspection' almost every single time.

NERFED POWERS:
-Six Eyes (Superhuman perception, he can see everything, potentially to infinity, and part of the reason he wears dark glasses / blindfold is to cut down on some of the constant overstimulation. I'm nerfing this in two ways: to about 300 meters, and also it will be just perpetually 'on the fritz' so that sometimes he can fail to notice things, people can sneak up on him, he won't be able to see into plot-relevant areas because his magic super-vision just isn't working right now. )
-Blue (Create a point of gravity like a tiny black hole, everything gets pulled toward it and goes smash. Nerfed down to 30% power and quantity. Worth noting that he can still create multiple instances of Blue at once and manipulate them with incredible precision, including being able to lift himself and others by manipulating these gravity points (he can fly, hover, and lift/manipulate objects up to the size of a bus).)
-Red (Create a point of repulsion / explosion. Nerfed down to 30% power and quantity. He could one-shot a 3-bedroom house. Worth noting that his precision control is almost more terrifying than his massive destructive power: he can create and control a tiny Red in order to create an aneurysm inside someone's brain for an insta-kill. )
-Purple (Red+Blue = Imaginary energy, unbelievable destructive power. Nerfed Entirely.)
